late night hillsong overview

my typing etc will probably be terrible coz im so so tired but cant sleep coz im used to the conference just starting up for the night at this time the rest of this week...

ahh so some highlights were, mike guglielmucci.. woah man! cried everytime i saw him, the strength that he has is incredible, its been 2 years since they told him he had 6 months to live and last night he preached to 30,000 without respiratory help/wheelchair/anything. he couldn't speak for long but it was huge that he did, he spoke on thursday aswel.. we sung healer last night, probably my favourite song and with like 20 singers on stage and then the whole crowd, it was incredible, i dont have words to explain.. we prayed for mike, it was powerful, God is so good. (most people who know me will know that 'healer' has had a pretty big impact on me)

leeland were also amazing! this guy only just turned 20 years old and speaks with the wisdom and knowledge of somebody whos been in the word for, like, 30 years. an amazing band you should definately look at, they have a myspazzz. i bought both albums, il put some lyrics in soon of my fave song that they sung, then you'll know what i mean.

judah smith! just the man. if you wanna borrow the cds i bought of him speaking or his book you totally can, he was just wow. he spoke about the secret place on wednesday(?) and about how we all need a 'fig tree' to hide away and seek God, im pretty keen to find a sweet spot on a hill.

the new hillsong album is amazing weee! il pos some lyrics and then write some more tomorrow..

Tears of the Saints- Leeland

There are many prodigal sons
On our city streets they run
Searching for shelter
There are homes broken down
Peoples hopes have fallen to the ground
From failures

This is an emergency!

There are tears from the saints
For the lost and unsaved
We're crying for them come back home
We're crying for them come back home
And all your children will strentch out their hands,
And pick up the crippled man
Father, we will lead them home
Father, we will lead them home

There are schools full of hatred
Even the churches have forsaken
Love and mery
May we see this generation
In its state of desperation
For your glory

This is an emergency!

Sinner, reach out your hands
Children, in Christ you stand
Sinner, reach out your hands
Children, in Christ you stand

And all your children will stretch out their hands
And pick up the crippled man
Father, we will lead them home
Father, we will lead them home.

Desert Song- Hillsong(Brooke Fraser)

This is my prayer in the battle
When all thats within me feels dry
This is my prayer in my hunger and need
My God is the God who provides.

This is my prayer in the fire
In weakness or trial or pain
There is a faith proved of more worth then gold
So refine me Lord through the flame.

I will bring praise
No weapon formed against me shall remain
I will rejoice, I will declare
God is my victory and he is here.

This is my prayer in the battle
When triumph is still on its way
I am a conqueror and co-heir with Christ
So firm on his promise I'll stand.

All of my life, In every season, You are still God,
I have a reason to sing, I havea reason to worship.

This is my prayer in the harvest
When favour and providence flow
I know I'm filled to be emptied again
The seed I've received I will sow.

The things of this conference have the potential to be life changing, its all in my hands now, ask me how I'm going if you like. x
